GEL-X VS GEL OVERLAY

Gel-X is a gel tip extension applied to the natural nail and adhered with gel that is cured under the UV light. Gel-x is a great option for clients who want to add length. Gel Overlay is a hard gel that is applied directly to your natural nail to add structure and strength to the nail. Gel overlay is perfect for clients who have naturally longer nails that want to keep them from breaking, or those clients who enjoy a regular manicure but need more structure.

DO ALL THE NAIL SERVICES INCLUDE GEL POLISH?

They Do! ALL of our colours are LED/UV cured.

I WORK A PHYSICAL JOB/I'M ROUGH WITH MY HANDS, WHAT DO I DO?

If you are always using your hands we do not recommend you get too much length if you are choosing gel-x. The nail is adhered extremely well and if the nail is bumped or caught it can cause a lot of pain and possible damage to the nail bed. A gel overlay would be recommended in those cases. 

HOW DO I KNOW IF MY INSPO IS MINIMAL OR ADVANCED NAIL ART?

The cool thing about when you book an appointment with us at Bella & Co. is that our booking system comes with an app! Any nail appointments that you book you have the option to add nail art and nail inspo! (also request certain colours etc) We do our best to review all appointments when they come through our system so that IF you may have chosen the wrong option we can message you to let you know! For the most part simpler designs (one colour, dots, lines, etc) would be considered minimal! Once there are more intricate designs, multiple colours, multiple designs on different nails it will be considered advanced! Otherwise, PLEASE do not hesitate to send us a Instagram dm @bellaandco.ca with your inspo/idea if you're still having trouble with booking and deciding which service to choose.

I HAVE PREVIOUS NAILS FROM ANOTHER LOCATION, WHAT DO I BOOK?

If you are coming with nails from another location please select one of the reapplication options. (Please note any foreign work is subject to a $10 removal).
